The Hands Behind Ayllu
Ayllu — pronounced "eye-yoo" — is a Quechua word from Peru, one of the native languages of my home country. It means community. Family. The circle of people who care for one another.
I named my brand Ayllu because that is what I want every piece to carry: the warmth of something made by hand, by family, for the people you love. Each wallet and pouch is cut by hand and sewn with care on my sewing machine in Canada, and every gift box is curated with goods from Canadian makers.
When you give Ayllu, you give more than a gift — you welcome someone into the circle.
